this is great! You can see more texture of the water in B&W
this is the way the camera captured it. I was surprised after reviewing the pictures
Very nice - great light & texture...
The sea looks very different in black and white, I can see a lot more detail. 😀
That looks really cool!
Cool postwork !!
A very rich, dark, churning shot, almost like tar or oil; and the textures are almost like hardened lava. Your black and white bring out the turmoil, even the anger of the sea ("the sea was angry that day, my friends"---a line from Seinfeld). Really fine expressive black and white work, Richard.
Interesting and beautiful!
It's very beautiful and very nice!

Yes, if covered in oil! Many unfortunate seamen wound up like this after being torpedoed in WWII. Of note - the water actually has different colors depending on where you are - like the Mediterranean is blue, north Atlantic is black, and so on... Keep up the good work. :-)
I hope it's not because of the oil!!! Great Shot !!
That really does look like a black and white photo, Richard. It's amazing how the sea can look so monochrome. Excellent shot!
Very interesting colours and details.
Great camera work as always Richard.
