Description
i was in a sad mood the other day,and this came to my mind.
Morningside
Written by: Neil Diamond
Morningside
The old man died
And no one cried
They simply turned away
And when he died
He left a table made of nails and pride
And with his hands he carved these words inside
";For my children";
Morning light
Morning bright
I spent the night
With dreams that make you weep
Morning time
Wash away the sadness from these eyes of mine
For I recall the words the old man signed
";For my children";
And the legs were shaped with his hands
And the top made of oaken wood
And the children sat around this table
Touched with their laughter
Ah, and that was good
Morningside
An old man died
And no one cried
He surely died alone
And truth is sad
For not a child would claim the gift he had
The words he carved became his epitath
";For my children";

Very emotive Rene! Lovely work Sir!
La mélancolie, voire la tristesse, envahissent quelquefois nos vies... puis le jour se lève... Superbe image symbolique, René!

i hope you feel better now my friend!
grand image!
Und das Morgen-Chaos lässt grüßen.
beautiful and yet very sad. A shame that he can't tour anymore.
Good thought and render. The significance of life lies in what you give significance. To many people expect others to find significance in the things they find significant. What is even more sad is that we don't care - unless its us.
If as you come to the end of you're days u can say u have more the five people that will miss u then u are a lucky person
Yes, the table. And the morning bath fully dressed. Unusual. Chin up! You have Ute. There are those of us who have no one. Keep up the good work! Best way to deal with a down period / depression is to work at something, like art. :-)
good job on lighting and poses. I like the warm colors and textures in this.
excellent :-)
A very moving and powerful image, Rene! Hope you're better now, bro.
A sad, yet moving piece. Excellent.
Well composed but think it cud be lighter
Great work my friend.
So rustic, so bleak. Hoped the catharsis cleared your soul. Now go listen to "What's New Pussycat"
