Description
I was asked to post this again since the original post fell into a black hole or something. The original concept is by Roger Dean, and an entire series of paintings of this model can be found in his book "Magnetic Storm", along with the concept drawings and model sheets. I have this guy textured now so I'll post a new one soon.

Great picture but hummmm, be carefull, Martians look better than that. You might hurt their sensitivity...
nice work........a bit smooth, I mean if its a fighting machine I think it need some dirt and scratches on the texture. I really like the modeling.
This is absolutely excellent, do not let anyone tell you differenly. what did you render it in?

well, talkingferret, other peeps on this forum would disagree, as would I. I am under no illusion of the quality of this work or my talent, and to put it bluntly, i kick ass, and your measley opinion means nothing to me.
