Description
Just a quick doodle after a cold, cold holiday season. I say quick but it was exasperating to make the lighting right on this scene. Still, Bee (for V3 as always) was quite patient and let me work it out. As with so many of my previous doodles, I simply threw together elements and improvisations from other pieces and made them work together. And speaking of light effects, I recently spent a lot of time working on some technical challenges in Vue. I'm trying to improve my aurora effect for a future piece. Alas, as I have complained before, luminous Vue textures - such as an aurora - will actually radiate black. This will remove light out of a scene - anyone remember the 2002 film 'Darkness'? So you can't get away with darkening a colour in some places. You must keep a uniform colour and try to lower the luminosity while also making the texture transparent. Life can be so complicated. And yes, I shoveled the driveway a lot. Like tonight. And it looks like I'm going to have to shovel it again tomorrow. Blah! Cheers!

Should get her to help you shovel, lol. Nice one!
A beautiful image with this lovely character and your lighting is very cool. Excellent work. I hope you don't have to do too much more shovelling of the snow. Spring may come early what with global warming. 😀
This turned out fine! Excellent work!

She looks Great!
Fine character and love her pose and outfit. The POV in this render works perfectly for her!
