Wouldn't you know it...the universal clock broke! With New Year's approaching, the caretakers were pulling their hair out trying to determine how to go ahead with the reparations. As luck would have it, one of the elders has a distant cousin, Gosha, who is renowned for his watch making. So after much (and heated) negotiation regarding remuneration for his work, Gosha agreed to help. Here we see him posing for the local newspapers. Bad luck comes at least in pairs, and, yes, it struck with a vengence--the electricity went down too. So, Gosha, will have to work by torch light and lots of acrid smoke. If Gosha manages to get that clock working in time for New Year's, he will be a hero. If not, we will have to endure more of 2017, one of the most horrific years in recorded history.
