Description
This car was presented to Prince Claus and (then) Princess Beatrix, now Queen of The Netherlands, at the occasion of their wedding in 1966.
The Dutch Royal family had already had various Fiats at that time; Princess Beatrix drove a 1400 and a 1900B in the 1950's. Her sister, Princess Irene drove a 1500 Cabriolet in the 1960's and the than Dutch Fiat Distributor, Leonard Lang, thought it to be a nice gesture to add a 2300S Coupe to the list.
The car was registered "AA-100", "AA" numbers being reserved for members of the Royal family, and is still in possession of the Royal Family.
The odometer currently reads 64,254KM but the car has not been driven for quite a while. It's currently on display at their palace in The Netherlands.
A nice "royal" touch is the set of three picture frames on the dashboard top with pictures of the three little princes (see below).

This is very amazing!
cool, fascinating and fun information as well as the photos
For English speaking people, cabriolet means convertible. ;-)
We call them Cabriolets in Australia too, and 'allegedly' we speak English!!! ;) Well a form of it anyway!
Nice captures Andrew. A great looking car!
