Description
This young woman was born and raised in Sonora, Mexico but now lives in Arizona. She has an agreement with the National Historical Park here at the Mission San Jose de Tumacacori to explain the history and materials used to make tacos, and to demonstrate the preparation of tacos and salsa. There are many ways and many materials that can be used. She is making corn tacos over an open wood fire and makes salsa, the way her mom showed her. We had a chance to sample the result. What a difference from store bought tacos.No comparison. Store bought tacos are factory made .

on my numerous trips to Mexico I always enjoyed the tacos there far more than in the states. the best I found were street taco stands
Home made Mexican food is one of the greatest things in the world.
I also like tacos. I would have like to taste these ones. I'm sure there were pretty good ! Great capture and narrative !
