And just how long will you be away this time, dear?” Kargaz: “Not long at all, we hope.” Fiona: “And you’d like me to wait here, all patient and understanding, till you manage to tear yourself away from her and get back to me?” Kargaz: “Of course, Fiona.” Fiona: “You know, Kargaz, dear, the Captain’s looking for a new midshipman to act as his personal assistant? And, moreover, strange as it may sound, midshipmen can also be women.” (She smiles) “I think I see an opportunity to improve my career prospects considerably.” Kargaz: (to himself) especially wearing that short frock.
