Description
I have a folder of pictures I've worked on over the years but never posted, for one reason or another. This was in the file because it was kind of boring. A beautiful sycamore tree, but too much detail and not enough contrast to be interesting as an image. I've been perusing that file lately with an eye to updating some of those shots with Topaz. This one made me happy, so I'm sharing it with you.
This was in Arizona in 2011. Really. Some of those pictures have been gathering dust for a VERY long time! :P

Pretty wild, Tara. It looks like something from one of Mark's fantasy stories or Chipka's off-world tales.
this is beautiful and wild - just wish they would grow like in real life
A wonderful wild finish for this tree Tara, very trippy and unique and I am sure you had fun creating it. 😀
nice one
FABULOSO!
Wonderful done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice work Tara.
Oh, yeah! That's indescribably cool, Tara! What a wonderful, flowing and painterly effect - I love it!
You did a hell of a job with this Tara. very nice!
Outstanding work Tara. God bless.
Your photo and Topaz combine to present a gem!
another image I was sure I'd commented on! (I'm either losing my mind, or you're doing a lousy job of keeping track for me!) I'm honored to be mentioned by mark, alongside chip; and you got a "fabuloso" from Andrea---which is worth 40 lines from someone else. I'm sure I said this on the phone: It's like viewing your photo through a beautiful piece of stained and textured glass, with many panes and glass textures. It's beautiful and scintillating; and I see you have 'borders' of short straight lines on every side. And the tree acts like the lead seams of a stained glass panel. Beautifully done. You turned a problem shot into a shimmering 2D piece.
