Description
We spent Thanksgiving with my son & his family on their farm in Corbett, Oregon, which is east of Portland near the Columbia River Gorge. They bought this five acre property less than two years ago & have put a huge amount of work into preparing the soil, building an irrigation system, putting up fencing, planting crops, etc. They built that large greenhouse in the background & have recently built a washing station & refrigeration room, which are both in that building on the right. They are very much do-it-yourself'ers - they do their research, buy raw materials & construct everything they need themselves. Whenever we visit, we're always amazed at how much they've accomplished & we're really proud of them!

What a wonderful place and no wonder you are proud :-) I have an old friend through about 17 years, who lives in Portland Oregon and he is 1/4 Native American. He lives in such a forest high up.
