beautiful and wild
Ditto, Mike. This is on the scheme of your last post, with a main image, and then 3 smaller ones on the bottom: I love what you do with this, how you bring wholly different images together into a wild collage of textures, forms, etc. The top one is like a topographical map, only it looks like it's a transformation of the image on bottom-left: And you've zoomed in on it, giving a watercolor web effect. Wonderful hues. The one bottom-left looks like the remains of a huge old leaf, but it could be an aerial view of a dried desert area with ridges. (I'll assume you haven't taken any aerial trips recently, esp over deserts!) I love the middle bottom---one of your many decay shots, I love the textures and contrasts of hues and perpendicular lines. That could be an upload by itself, in my book. The flower is a closeup of the furls of a very pink rose, and it makes fine, sensual contrast to the others. So the top image has the bottom 3 blended in? You made a wholly unique image out of it, I wouldn't have guessed it upfront. I love this format of main image and 3 bottom ones, and that you combine them. Terrific once more, Helle. I love the experimenting you've been doing. You're so natural at this! Have a fine time with your family!

So I say, "Helle is so clever, I will learn from her and combine textures and colors." So I get a couple of texture pictures, and some color, but ... !!! ... there's something missing. So I add. And add again. And fiddle around. THEN! I decide it should be black and white. Now I ask you, how can I do anything approaching your last two images if I can't stop messing around? LOL! What I did was probably just fine with three layers, but I can't seem to quit. I should know better by now. Every time I embark on a "Learning from Helle" project, I still get Tara stuff every time! :P
