Wonderful work,excellent done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is so very interesting! I love the way some filters do such unexpected things. Wonderful result!
This style reminds me of the art movements of the 20's and 30's, very nicely done.
nicely done
A splendid portrait with such interesting textures and colors. Cloudy here again today but warmer about 16C. I hope you can keep warm at your place. :)
Wonderful, fun, and colorful portrait, Helle!
It was actually a really nice day here - for a change...
Wowwwww!!! So exciting! I love the portrait, and your colors, and the filters just bring out everything so well. What a triumph!
It's finally nice here today, too. It was 70F, after having been closer to 90F all week. I like the cooler temps!
Absolutely FABULOUS Helle !!!
(whenever you give the weather, some others like to tell you theirs...well, we have the same as you, lol, so I got nothing to report!) I love the tilt of the original here, and the quiet gaze; then, your treatment has broken him into separate 'patches', like little principalities. Yes, I agree with boni that this has qualities in common with the 20s and 30s (in European art), I always love her comments (and her work, though I haven't yet commented on it, for lack of time). Your rich rust reds next to greens and yellow greens, etc, are quite pleasing; as is the bright green, and your chalk-white outlining. And your background is a typical helle background, with varied patterns all next to each other. Yet they stay wholly within the color and texture scheme of the whole. A beautiful reworking, and it feels introspective and is very warm and inviting.
