Description
This building is also located along McKeown Avenue in Patagonia. It was constructed with adobe brick originally hand-made on site in 1915. The building has undergone many uses over the years and is now listed as a private residence, 5,211 square feet in size, has been restore to meet local codes and is used as a bar/pub providing Latin/Salsa music on weekends. Many local artists provided their services and painted murals on the inside of the building

Unfortunately all the Patagonia pictures were taken against the sun and on this one it was just not feasible to take the entire building in one shot at this time of the day.

Great photo! One can see the similarities to the ruined presidios in the southwest US, but this one never closed down. Very nice.
outstanding building and capture. have you been to Chloride, NM? the owner of the town told me that he had been having trouble finding someone to make Adobe bricks. he hired a couple of Mexican workers to paint and he mentioned about the bricks. they said they know how to make them and made on the spot also
