Description

During the days when the railroad operated, these buildings were directly across McKeown Avenue from the railroad depot. After the railroad ceased to operate the small town had to make some major adjustments, and over time it did. Part of the rail yard became the City Park, there is the Paton Center for Hummingbirds, there are a couple of art dealers, cafes and bed & breakfast places, and there is a riparian area at the western end of town, that attracts people.
