wasn't El Dorado a morality tale? About the futility of seeking riches? That's what you captured in this series. If this is the last of the series, you did a fine job of ending it in futility and despair...You've used gold tones through all 3 images, and you've mixed reds and pinks into the gold. And this scene---conceived from a low point on the ground---is dramatic, especially with those dogs and the men in chains. It's another cinematic image, created like a dramatic shot in a film...and the dappled light on the ground adds to the sense of "shadow" (and confinement). Always well done and inventive. And your added image (in your comment, above) is really cinematic: A 'shot' from a high angle, with a dramatic view of the slaves down below. And that woman carrying a heart. A very dramatic 'epilogue' to this series.

It can only be hoped that they will not end up being sacrificed to the gods of the Temple. 😒 Good-looking Mesoamerican scene and architecture! 👍

I climbed a pyramid outside of Mexico City back in the mid 80's. I just thought I was in shape from climbing ladders. the rise of the steps had to be 16 inches or more to step up.

superb composed scene and poses

Excellent scene superbly rendered in Bryce. I like the tension one can feel in what lies ahead for the prisoners. 👍
