Description
Took a short walk in Lithia Park in Ashland yesterday, expecting that there wouldn't be very much color left, but was pleasantly supplied. This is a small duck pond near the entrance of the park that I've posted photos of before...

Beautiful autumn capture. Well done.
great pov. , wonderful colors and mood
You did mushroom shots (incl a postworked version I loved) and some stunning doll shots, but I have to move ahead as I'm at an hour now...This is yet another example of your eye-popping color work, with saturated vivid hues and your signature separation of hues---ie, this isn't an image which has just been saturated, which is what various photographers do; you seem to work out each section with its own voice and presence, making a visual street fair. Your composition is beautiful, with that long curve of water---it breaks up any 'sameness' in the shot---a sameness which is always a problem in any visual work that bursts with shouting hues. And the white in the background---reflected on the water too---gives the needed white to contrast all these reds and yellows. A shouting dancing shot, and beautifully composed. (To make my point again, I would be dying to desaturate it and maybe bring out 1 or 2 colors, and study the lines and textures. I just am called to that, perhaps from drawing long before I photographed. But you do this type of shot better than almost anyone else here. And the composition is as much a part of it as the brilliant hues.)
Amazing colors. Aloha
