Description
I have heard this before the way it is worded on the plaque, but for my opinion in no way was slavery ever a "right cause or principle"

amen!
Well said, Richard! And a great photo!
Of course this would be in Missouri, land of the backward. Nice catch, Richard.
A truly beautiful capture !!
Yes! Amen!
You do have a point, great capture!
It is very beautiful!
Definitely unsettling inscription.Fine capture, Richard.
Can't agree more. Slavery in any form is utterly reprehensible and deserving of nothing but condemnation.
I agree otherwise, though, that 'those who die for a right principle do not die in vain'. Except that many, alas, would rather live under the oppression of wrong principles than risk their lives challenging them. Which is only human, I guess... :/
Good word Richard!!
Exellent done..........
Very well said and nice shot!!!!!
