ok, first, you just added one more drawing to your gallery---pretttttty sneaky! And I also saw you just sent me a sitemail. Well, I'm gonna wait till I'm finished, in case you just asked me to stop! (Hey, I gotta finish, I'm on a roll here...)
This is intense! The two areas of straight lines---on either side of her face---are terrific, they make a halo for her. And her face is also intense, a perplexed expression, with lots of color variation. Introspection too. And you echo the lines around her face with lines on her shirt---going down, fanned out. This is first rate, Andrea. And a blue tie for contrast to those pinks and greens, etc. I saw this when it went up and I thought you seem to be getting more intense as you go along. This is a full painting...terrific.
