Magnificent shapes, colours and lighting.
Mike, I'm at an hour and a half now, and being way behind, I have to move on. But I did quite a few images, and I hope to come back for more before I step away again. I'm ending with this because it's a simple study of rings, and because you did so much with them. Full size, you really have a whole world inside these: The lines inside them make us think these are transparent. But also that their surfaces are immensely rich. You have an almost apo feeling inside these surfaces. And the purple-gold and gold-gold and blue-gold are just wonderful. I hope everyone zoomed, because, close up, these things are cornucopias. And the stark black background is perfect: In fact, jewelry displays often show silver and gold against stark black. Beautifully done, Mike. It's a real pleasure to walk through your inner world. I can't tell you what a treat it is to come here, no matter what I'm doing, and see this complete treasure trove; and to see what you're up to next. I love this series. I'm sorry I haven't commented on them all.
