ETAT DE REALITE NON ORDINAIRE (ALTERED STATE OF CONSCIOUSNESS) DAZ Studio + Photoshop FULL SIZE HIGHLY RECOMMANDED !! This suite of 4 images are not intended to depict a real peyote ceremony. This is only an artistic interpretation of this kind of shamanic ritual. The idea came from some fractals I made which can represent or give an idea of psychedelic visions...So I built this suite of images from them. The elements of the scene are symbolic : a sand painting with the Hikuri figure, peyote buttons, sun and stars ; a basket full of peyote buttons ; and the desert representing the loneliness of the insider who has to face the forces of the nature and the vastness of the Universe. The present scene depict the first phase of the ritual, when the trance begins and when the insider enters an "Altered State of Consciousness" where strange visions appear ; strange and sometimes scary unspecified things invade the space... Hikuri is the name of the Peyote Spirit. He is represented as a White Stag, benevolent keeper of the Insider... Thank you for viewing and comments, always appreciated !! Have a nice day, my friends !
