my sister will be leaving in the morning. I enjoyed having her down. first time since her surgery to replaced her hip for the second time. her muscles got weak while being in bed for a long time, so she is having therapy to strengthen them

Nice ride Richard! Could you perhaps treat your sister to some elastic knee bandages? That will give her both support and confidence around her quads until they strengthen. I have bandage for each knee and I just gave my MIL a new pair to help her walk because she's motionless much of the day.
