Description
Miss Meadow on her walk with me this lunchtime.
All the girls went together to the country park but I went a different way with Meadow as the others go on a longer walk.
The path Meadow & I are walking down is called the black & white path as over the years the girls & I have made it.
I thought, as I had Meadow, I was going to have a leisurely walk, I was wrong, as soon as she was off the lead she was off at a rate of knots. I had a job keeping up with her, plus she is deaf & didn't hear me shouting her. I had to wait for her to look round to see if I was coming & then I could gesture her to come to me. When I got to the gate where the car was & where we were meeting the others, she wanted to go again, I did take her back through the gate but I had her on the lead this time as I didn't want her overdoing it.
This little girl at 14 & a half, is not intending to slow down, she is so determined & that is what keeps her going.
We keep our eye on her & won't let her overdo it but we are NOT going to stop her going out whenever she wants to.
Thanks for all the lovely comments & favs, so, so appreciated. x

It is wonderful that she is so active and happy!
Cool, great captures!
She looks great, even forgetting her age. Beautiful area for their walks too. Love that tails of hers--like a white flag following her.
Great pictures, and what a great story! Miss Meadow is obviously young at heart.

What a nice story of you and the girls breaking a walking trail.
Appears Miss Meadow isn't ready to slow down yet.
Age is but a number, good for her at 14 and a half.
Very nice collage, thanks for sharing.
