Hope all had a super weekend, prayers for our sick friends and all Houston and Florida flood victims. 9/11 today, a day that will live in the minds forever. Prayers for the fallen on that very dreadful day 16 years ago.

So much sadness in the world. I recall 9/11 vividly. I was visiting in Bangor, Maine when I heard this devastating news and stay tuned to the radio. The airport in Bangor was shutdown and the whole city had an eerie atmosphere...

Hard to believe it's been 16 years. In the late 70s early 80s, I lived across the street from the WTC (was one of the pioneers to move into that developing area--I lived in Gateway Plaza). Walked through the towers every night after work, often had Sunday brunch in the Vista Hotel located in one of the Towers. Ate, shopped, did my banking in the towers, so for someone such as myself, those tragic events of 9/11 really hit home--for me, that horrible day holds a special, personal meaning. It took me years before I could visit that area.
