Well it's time to start commenting again, and I've had so much fun and stimulation watching your uploads since I was last here regularly...your mixed media pieces have been one fascinating, introspective and mythic-rich image after the next. But I'm starting with a fractal because this was 1) where I last left off, and 2) exquisite, dark and mysterious. It's a very intense, introspective piece, with hidden secrets and a highly organic texture. Like pods or mushroom-growths, impregnated with tons of spores. The shadow on bottom and the middle sets this in deep shadow; and it makes one feel there's a lot going on beyond our sight. The background has photographic realism (in bokeh), and overall it's like a colony of fungal life, found in a cavern; and your alternating detail and soft focus truly make it a photograph. A biologist's photograph of a rare specie of fungal life. Quite beautiful, Barb.
