my last day on RR for a few weeks, and I'm doing one last comment per gallery before I go. I wanted to do your beautiful recent river shots---one with rosie in it---but I chose this instead because it's so unusual, and so you. I love the bold contrasts---in full view, the zipper pops out and slaps us in the face. I love the rings on the end of the zipper handle (I don't know what you call that! the zipper puller?) and how you bring out the gold/brass tones. And how the zipper folds in on itself (on top), and the 'glass block' distortions you created out of the background. And all that white, to contrast those deep blues, oranges, yellows, etc. Terrific shot. Whatever you use the zipper for, it'll never look as explosive as it does here---but it'll make a big statement wherever it is. Love the shot.
