Description
I have a lot of these in the garden and this is the best end of the season for this species.
I have yet to get a photo of them laying because unlike the Hawkers they don't keep still to do it!

great captures My girls could have used this one to chase the Mossies away from their site (see RR# 86)
very nice
A great shot. Your description that they don't keep still put an image in my mind of a darter dive bombing the pond and releasing her eggs as she flies over. Must be the Chai tea and chocolate.
Very elegant one !
Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
Super capture!!
amazing macro showing how many different colors they can have 😀
