Description

This is one of the hidden treasures of Bal'mer (Baltimore) which I'm not sure how many visitors/tourists actually visit. It is located in Druid Hill Park (Droodle Park if you are local) next to the resevoir and the zoo... no, a real zoo; not the neighborhoods one drives thru to get there. Speaking of which, that is not really fair. Most of the residential areas are very decent but don't make any wrong turns. Web site: http://www.rawlingsconservatory.org/ We went there on a very nice day (temperature and humidity were gloriously suitable for human life) because Mrs. W heard about the orchid house. OK. It's also not far from the mills in the Jones Falls valley which are undergoing a rebirth as artsy-fartsy studios, apartments, etc. while preserving the mill town charm rather than replacing them with glass and steel cubes. Also the trolley museum is not too far away. So here we are looking at the main building. PW only to resize for R. As we look at the building, we can see it is occupied by triffids. Maybe we should pass on this? Naw... I got my salt water taffy gun handy, so let's see what's going on. Enjoy; thanks for viewing.
