You know that feeling at meetings when you get bored out of your skin?
Southern Hawker exuvia from my pond

Ok. That's just funny!! This is exactly how I felt at the Monday morning meetings in the office I just left! Let's just say I don't miss it 😳
a round table discussion without the round table .. great capture
Hilarious! A very clever concept.
Cool idea and very very well composed shot !
"We're all here. Now where's King Arthur?" How did you get them to sit still - alcohol? Poison? Glued their feet to the floor? You'll have to explain. I'm SO curious how you've "trained" you bugs! :-)
They are exuvia..that is they are empty skins from which the adult dragonflies have emerged. No training required.
That is so funny, how did you get them to comply
Cleverly setup Andrea. Only the Maypole is missing :)
Circular firing squad?
lol that is what my son does with croachs in a boutique in oklahoma where I was shopping and he was bored 😁
Nice I must dig a pond.
Oh yes, indeed! I would be one of the dead-from-boredom ones, toes up.
A wonderful shot and a very creative idea
"you put your left leg in" was my first thought! Superb!

I'm not officially back, but I wanted to leave a few more comments for you since it's been too long. (And I see everything regardless, as I always say.) (to the point of boring my fans to death) I Love this circular huddle against sheer white. And all the detail on the shells. It's beautiful and creepy how some insects leave their remains in such a fine state. It makes a helluva picture, and from here it could just as well be living insects, huddling over strategy. A really fine addition to your meeting-drawings. Love it.
