The important people at my nieces graduation. The town crier did a good job telling everyone what was going on.
These sort of ceremonies must have been going on for years & years. It all fascinates me.

Tradition serves a purpose. It reminds us of our roots, culture, history, and background. Things which are so under attack from those who seem to think that they have something to atone for. (OK, I won't get started.) Great images.
