My wife bought me a Panasonic Lumix FZ-1000 for my Birthday. I would call it a compliment to a DSLR but not a replacement.

Beautiful shot - great focus & color.
The FZ-1000 is the camera I've been using for a while. As a non-professional, I'm very happy with the quality & don't have any need for a DSLR (though I can understand why others do). One thing I'm curious about is the 250 ISO number. My FZ-1000 has ISO settings in the following increments: 125, 200, 400, 800, etc. Is there a way to set the ISO to any value you want that I'm not aware of?

Beautiful shot! I like the weight and convenience of a camera like that, and have had a couple of them myself. They have their limitations, but the things they do well, they do VERY well! I think you'll like the new camera a lot.
