Great take on the original (a painting from the late 1800s, which was taken over by RCA, and also used by EMI in Britain...they may have been connected, I don't know; but I see you have the original painting on the phonograph; and the RCA logo: Great job on this, Steve!). Here, the dog is a little puppy, looking up into the horn, rather than down; love the new take on it. Beautiful hues on the horn---like obsidian. And the woman is beautifully done, bending into the horn too, and very sexily. The background is a huge window over a dramatic sunset (on a high floor---I like the feeling of being suspended in space, here). A very reddish feeling, and the blacks, as always, are great contrast. And it's with a cat who doesn't seem to care one way or the other about the music...it's just playing...(I'm old enough to remember these old crank phonographs...but they went out before I was 5...) Another fine image from you.
