On this bookshelf are books on ruins and the state of modern architecture. Some of the books like the one on Elile Saarinen tie into Cranbrook Institute as well as the GM Technical center and a Finnish exchange student I knew at university. Others reveal an interest in bungalows to bring back my own taste from offices to residences. There are books on construction that hold a special place in the recent collapse of 2007/2008. I have a lot of photographs of unfinished and then completions which I keep as private since the premises are now occupied. This then is the summary of my eye in authentication as objects and props exist in the mind, in photographs and in books through recent years as in the outside world they age and are restored and are destroyed and created. My viewers as artists and curators have deeper interest in much of what is seen. The my car presentation of my recent posts avoids the exemplary and spectacular possibilities of museums while allowing for parking lot car shows and trips with my descendants.
