Description
For the girls today. They were out very early this morning & for the rest of the day laid around inside. I feel sorry for dogs that will have been walked about today, do people not realise how hot the pavements get. I went out into the garden with no shoes on & I couldn't stand for long on the slabs.
Girls not been out yet still too hot, think it will be after 9 tonight.

So it's just as hot there. Lucky dogs! I had to tell a man just now that the reason his dog was whimpering and not standing still was because the pavement was so very hot. Would you believe he never thought of that? He seemed to be rather upset at the thought of his pup being in pain. He put him in his lap in the car and poured cool water over his little feet. I hope he never forgets
Sounds and looks like you have way too much heat there and seeing how it's Winter where I live, you can send some of the excess down here...LOL
I think the local Council needs to install nature strips when they build the pavements, but failing that...um, just be quick !

Glad the girls are staying inside until it's cool. It's going to get extremely warm here in the PNW for the next week
I recently bought a Dyson fan which is a brilliant design with no blades. It was in use yesterday and will be again today ! My garden has grass and lots of shade but the air was too hot to breathe. We eventually went out about 6.
I was carrying my dog across the parking lot to the vet and someone said she was spoiled. I explained how hot the parking lot is on her paws and they said, "so what, it's a dog." Yea, I wanted to punch them so bad.
Your wayyyy hotter than us so far-- think you also began to heat up long before we did too.
We are sitting at 22c nearing seven pm. Our highest for a week and then dropping down again.
Yes our Fur Pets are as sensitive to heat as humans without shoes are== thanks for the reminder Barbara.
The girls look very comfortable where they are before the occasional trip to the pottie has one of them stirring the other two. LOL>
