My name is Christian Weiß (AKA X-PaX) and I was born april 28th 1970 in Hamburg (Germany). I always like Computergrafics (CG) and during the time I've got some favorite programs such as Terragen, World Machine, Paint Shop Pro and some other.

It's so rare that you post industrial photos, I was amazed when I saw this go up, a couple of weeks ago. You handle this kind of subject with the same delicacy and sensitivity that you apply to your other more common subjects. The sepia tone works well for all this concrete and open soil. And the array of concrete blocks, the big exposed rough-hewn concrete slab in front, and the other elements here, all combine to make an abstract. I really like the sweep of this shot. A fine shot of the rough rhythms and contrasts of construction sites. They all have a 'blandness', but also a great rhythm and subtle drama; and you capture all of that here.
