Description

Here is the other version now, a follow-up to the prior post 'Children of the Night' ... * * * The clash of the vivid colours represents sparring nations in conflict... no need to elaborate on that ! :( Cheers Brigitte

The contrasting colours and the reverse negative space really change the feel of the whole image from your 'children of the night' post and the fits the title perfectly...Viva la revolution !

Neat experimentation and results...now for the seniors of the revolution...LOL

~Cheers~

And in this picture the girl's face, with it's appearance of innocence, is lost in the shadows. These two pictures are individually very nice, but together they are very powerful.

The large red form just left of center looks a little like a rifle. Fits the theme very well. An omen of the future. Fantastic contrasting colors.

Really cool work, Brigitte !!! I like both versions. The previous version looks like something you would have found on a Beatles LP cover back in their Yellow Submarine Days ! ! ! ! Great stuff !!!!!

A prophetic & haunting image. We are too close to the reality. Very memorable!

Perhaps this is the same image, but your color choices bring out shapes that were blacked-out in the previous image. The oranges stand like huge pillars, like architectural towers. And the lower portion is sunken in a dirty, soiled blue, which is very ominous, like danger lurks there. It feels menacing, like the collision of powers that you mention in your intro. At the same time, the young woman/girl seems to be walking in a great macabre cathedral---those tall orange columns are like the pillars of a cathedral interior---where something terrible is about to befall. A very powerful image, and a real transformation from the last one. The oranges and greens make terrific contrasts, and all that 'grunge' and grain is really effective.
