Great shots here
I'm digging myself out of a self created hole here. The second one look like it is Canadian with that spread axle tandem. The first one is what has replaced the hooks and sling and then the Swedish EKA single fork lift I saw at a Recovery Vehicle show at the Palm Beach Fairgrounds. What you really wanted to know is do I think these are amazing photographs? The juxtaposition of the Medium weight guy that remained with Ford, Chevrolet, GMC and RAM with 16 inch wheels with the bigger guy that is maybe a PACCAR tractor type ( Peterbilt/Kenworth) or a Volvo/White or Ford/ Mack; maybe a Freightliner class 8 with 22.5 inch wheels gives art a 2D boost when flat.
Thanks for the highly technical description. Amazing how you know this stuff.
stunning long trucks! 😀
I was happy to see that you were back to live photography again. I hope you can continue. These are long extended shots of flatbeds, and your perspective makes them stretch and be dramatic. The fact that they're empty of cargo makes them like big moored slabs. And your light is a bleached early morning gray-white, which makes it feel very abandoned, even though it's just a result of the hour. Your vehicle shots were some of the first things that drew me to your gallery, years back; and the lines and visual drama of these explain why.
Wonder What they have transported in those, wood trunks maybe? Super shots !!
