Great capture
Looks scarry being so dark. Great shot of it and flower, Jean.
Fantastic shot - love the detail & color int he wings...
Superb macro !!
Very good photo - shows much detail. Looks quite large. The black color makes it look rather ominous. A stinger, but not aggressive? Maybe size gives it confidence. Keep up the good work! :-)
encore une magnifique macro. Ton appareil est vraiment très bon
tout est P A R F A I T ! ...parfois plus !!!
the bent antennae on this critter are cool. The same can be said of honey bees.
Most bees here are unaggressive. The wasps on the other hand are all psychopaths.
Remarkable creature and capture. Wonderful detail.
very precise detail and capture
Splendide macro

what a big one and I thought it is a fly at first! impressive capture 😊
Very "boring" creature! (That's a joke!) Extraordinary shot, Jean!
at least one can usually hear them coming with their loud buzzing. quality macro
The contrast between the mauve coloured Iris and the dark brown/blackish Bee is just wonderful Jean, also nicely cropped... Your Summer has arrived by the look of this capture
Fantastic close-up.
Chapeau l'artiste !
wonderful capture
We have them all around the house. You are right! They are not aggressive! I have had them land on me several times. Beautiful shot Jean_C. Great close up.
BELLE PHOTO CHER JEAN!
