Description
Yes, a groaner of a title, but how many of you will acknowledge you recognize where that is from? I thought so; the usual suspects!
This is the same display (as promised). The only differences are a slightly different viewing angle as I rebraced myself against a door frame, and I dooked around with the ASA and time exposure. As a result, we have a lighter image but a tad more shake/movement in the tripod setting thanks to having to breathe.
PW: same list to port (1 degree bubble again -- gimme points for consistency) and a recrop to chop the exposed background color. Next we resized it for R. Again, this is 60% of the original... zoom, amigos; zoom.
Well, that's it for the Oriental Hall and I guarantee we did not do proper justice to the collection. Sorry, but we were getting pooped and in bad need of a wine bar. This had been 6 hours of touring the Met and, as stated before, we barely scratched it. The musical instrument gallery was closed and we never made it to the reconstructed rooms, etc. Darn! Now we gotta go back some time.
Uh oh, time to leave. I hear somebody's mummy calling. CU in the Middle Kingdom.
Enjoy; thanks for viewing.
Bad jokes? What bad jokes?

we don't need no stinkin' bad jokes! Great capture! your range in photography has really hit Ommmm! You can find some Port in the wine bar! You might be able to find it near the actor's wall (starboard)
OMG. That's good. Very incorriging. (At least it's not a whine bar.) CU in Egyptian Hall.
I find having a one degree list to port is the best state to be in whilst visiting public places like a museum. Nice shot although we're all going to hold you responsible for Mike's response :p
Good one!!
LOL - Wonderful title - and yes, I know from whence it came!
Wonderful photo of this display. I came here after seeing Mike's Ommmm On The Range render - and I'm glad I did. Looks like you have some cool stuff in your gallery!
