Description
Hi once more,
Anyone who has seen (or heard) one of these, knows that sound.. I have them over here several times a week now as RAF Wittering has gone 'active' once more, if only as a training base.
I know I've not posted this one, luckily this was still lurking on the memory card in my camera so I moved it back.. Unfortunately, I have to start again regarding photoshop etc. But, it does give me chance to go to town on some (This was the D-Day show Duxford, it was sunny promise).
The Duxford Air Festival (27th May), has a Mig15, Dassault Rafale (French air Force), Typhoon, Sea Vixen, Strikemaster (ground attack provest), DH88 Comet (first time out of Shuttleworth), Bronco, plus much more, good show well done Duxford - course it will rain now......
I have now purchased a External HD, all remaining photos are on it now. (phew). Plus disc's - just in case!
Enjoy this
Rob

Great capture! I actually have ridden in one.
Tell me again- with round windows it's a CH-46 and with square windows it's a CH-47? Anyway, a Piasecki tandem rotor that came from the VERTOL plant in Philadelphia near the American International rentacar lot? Next is how many engines does a Jolly Green Giant have? Or on this one, how is the Lycoming shaft engine related to the one in the M-1 Abrams. Still in Pennsylvania and we could drop in on BAE to look at armor.
An egg beater doing what it's best at, making enemy omelets! I sure do remember that sound. In fact, I bought the Airfix model as soon as it appeared on the market. And I have one now in its carton on my bedroom bookcase. Bookcase? Er, better to call it model case! Glad to hear you could invest in an external hard drive. They're expensive but save a lot of heart ache and back up pains. Keep up the good work. There's NOTHING that says you can't post last years Duxford photos again (if you have them) as compensation for lost photos. We STILL appreciate them! :-)
only very much power let him stay or fly in the sky... cool picture and I can almost hear this shhhhroabbb....shhhhroabb... well captured!
Love it Rob - a superb capture.
Chinooks can do amazing things as your fine photo shows!
Great photo. I just had time to capture this one a couple of weeks ago. https://youtu.be/5K5o9o-QMyI
Excellent shot! Yes that sound - a thudding in your chest like the aftershocks of an earthquake! Maybe I was too close!

Cool capture.
