Description
Since this photograph has been taken in Holland, the bluethroat was supposed to have a red star on the chest but it didn't. In some cases a white star is visible on the chest but not in this case and I am sure this an adult male bluethroat. The female blauthroat lacks te bright blue on the chest and the younger bluethroats don't have much color at all.
