L'ansa del fiume , con la poca acqua rimasta , era una vera calamita per i poveri animali assetati , ma allo stesso tempo era anche un ottimo trampolino di lancio per l'agguato teso dai predatori.La fuga delle giraffe avrebbe dovuto mettere in guardia il branco ma , evidentemente , la sete aveva avuto sopravvento sulla prudenza . Questa notte la Savana avrebbe reclamato il suo tributo di sangue!
The bend in the River, with the little water left, was a real magnet for the poor thirsty animals, but ,at the same time ,it was also a great springboard for the ambush stretched from predators.The escape of giraffes would warn the herd but, evidently, thirst had taken precedence over caution.
