Description
The Ford Tri-Motor has a high mounted wing, meaning the wing is mounted across the top of the fuselage vs aircraft that have low mounted wings, such as the Junkers Ju-52, also a tri-motor. Aircraft with high mounted wings are more difficult to ditch if there is an emergency over water, but the view to passengers is less obstructed.

That is interesting, great capture!
Good photo. Here again the rivets are clearly visible, indicating how the plane is constructed. The finely corrugated metal shows strength of construction. Nice with the person in the photo for comparisons sake. Interesting with the slanting door. More photos, please! :-)
Another fine shot in this excellent series.
Love this shot - lots of detail
another great view
Shining work.
I think it must have been very expensive to fly with, but it also must have been a fantastic time and feeling you never will forget ☺
Great Image !!!

Sharp shot wi cool details my friend!!
I never thought about that angle: ditching in a high-wing. Thanks for the warning! The price sounds right for a chance to experience the good old days.
Cool shot
