I dunno...these are pretty spectacular, I wouldn't say they can't stand on their own. In full zoom---which scrolls off my screen and into my downstairs neighbor's apartment, lol---these are mighty powerful. Beautiful arrays. I love the blues and yellows and pinks of 37; the wholly vertical sheaths of 6 (and the little ceremonial art on his tail---beautiful); the deep reds and ivory whites of 32 and how it opens up in the center (to an ivory-hued tree); the near-lace-work of 48 (beautiful!) with those bright light blues (turquoises) and that sense of an open laced scarf on its back; and the honey-butter dripping hues of 44, with its cellular structures dripping down his back. Spectacular. (I'll never figure out your numerical sequences! I think these are sending signals to someone on another planet!) Great to see them all in one piece. This could command a whole room, if it were on the wall. This is a great series, Tom. Really luminous.

Wonderful Bugs, Tom! Comfort yourself ... I do not have so synonymous with the Roman numbers. The ancient Romans are long dead already! LOL Grandiose colors and shapes!
