Description
Driving to get some gas before going to the Gym on base I saw these contrails and cirrus and stopped to take a picture. These cirrus seem to be the Avant-Garde of the approaching Pacific Low that is to bring some cooling and possibly some rain. These clouds have got to get a lot thicker and a lot lower before they could produce the predicted 0.10 to .25 inches of precipitation.

PS: We had nine consecutive days of temperature between 31C (88 F) and 36 C (96F) equaling the old record set in 1972.

Clouds? With that gorgeous light on the water, and the shadows and silhouettes, and you're looking at the CLOUDS? Okay ... they're terrific clouds, but I saw them as a backdrop to a fabulous photograph rather than as the main attraction. I guess that's what you get when you show a girl from Washington a picture of clouds! LOL!
it was 84 here at least earlier. I do not know what it was at 5PM. very nice sky and we have a forecast for very strong storms on Friday

@auntietk! Nice comment Tara, I guess I had it coming. Well you get desperate down here. This sky is officially classified as partly cloudy here. Anywhere else these wisps of clouds would be ignored lol.
