This is an inspired piece Steve. Dark and enchanting, especially for those of us who know the song.
Unfortunately, I don't know the song, so I can't appreciate the intimate connections. (Another thing I'm out of the loop on!) But as a visual, this is jam-packed. I'll have to check out Jollyself: I know of her, but haven't seen her gallery. This is wonderful. I love the bottle, barely visible but present. And that woman in the fish bowl, with a wonderful Dali-like clock. And a great thing on her chest, and your usual way with body painting, etc. I love her decorated eyes, and the fish swimming around her...If I knew the song, I have a feeling this would be doubly meaningful (the comments think so). And that rabbit (yes?) who looks like he's right out of Alice in Wonderland. And the tiny mice checking it out. The back is a big medieval window, and more old pocket watches...and lots of ambers, etc. A beautiful fantasy...sorry I don't know the reference, but it's beautiful even without it. A magical surreal image.
Would be nice if I could capture time in a bottle. Then maybe time wouldn't move so damn fast.
(Be even better to reverse the last 25 years, but that's another long story.)
