Vue? It says Terragen. Looks good to me I'm just gettingstarted with terragen, and its seems pretty complex. Would you say world machine is a must have with Terragen?

Yay, the terrain looks fantastic and the lighting on it is imo perfect; very nice luminance-balance between sun-lit and shadowed areas. I have no idea, what could had been wrong with the TG-sky you used. Don't you like the style of TG's clouds? (They are indeed mostly a bit .. special .. some like them, some not.)
If this pic had a cool TG-sky .. for instance .. a bliss 0.0 .. or bombasic 3D-clouds .. or even wispy cirrus with a beautiful coloured sky-gradient .. it would probably knock me off the stool ..^^
