Norway, Gaularfjellet
The pass leads us through the gaularfjellet and is already prepared for the winter with the sticks beside the road.
Fjellet means a Highland or Tundra in Norway, all are about 1000 to 1400 m high.

obviously some really deep snow storms happen there with the markers so tall. I have not seen markers so tall in the USA.

Beautiful shots, my friend! And I have never seen snow sticks placed alongside the road like this. That is so smart. And guess what? This is so fitting. We have a BLIZZARD here today in Pennsylvania. Two feet of snow already on the ground!

Judging by the height of the 'sticks' they are expecting a lot of snow. Great capture!i
