this is the digifiddled version, right? The flickr looks like the original. In any case, I love the flickr, and this version is like a pod for a creature about to hatch. YOu made it more bulbous. And you "colonized" the background, in your signature way. Such beautiful patterns. We read about that assassination---the Russian government isn't any fun, I can say that. (We are deluged with stories about it, in the press's desire to get Trump out of office. I'm one of many who think Trump's completely unfit for office, but the press is flooded with the stories while there are other things going on in the world. But we heard about the poisoning, and other things like it. Power can be ugly, east or west...)
