I instantly recognized this as Shore Acres from the crane sculptures. One of my very favorite places on the Oregon coast - we always try to stop there if we're anywhere close...

I realize you may have coaxed that shadow out, but whether enhanced by you or just dark to begin with (I suspect the former), it's a beautiful dreamy background to these silken, sensual blooms. And the two birds back there are beautiful counterpoint, as is the soft-focus water, trees, flowers, etc. A deep perspective with only the front layer in focus. Beautifully done, filled with visual contrast and counterpoint. You paint with the lens and postwork.
