Description
Something a little different, just for fun. Took a photo of a brass beetle I picked up somewhere many years ago (it's probably about 6 inches long & it's back lifts up to reveal a hidden compartment) & then played with creating a background for it using Perfect Effects (lots of layers), as well as a separate set of layers for the bug itself...

Most impressive work and that background effect is perfect!
perfect image for the Edgar Allen Poe story - Gold Bug
It is a great object and the treatment is terrific!
And the result is fabulous. Very well done :)
I like the result very much.
Superb composition with the brass beetle and nice effects, superb work!
Amazing work my friend. God bless.
excellent work on this image. The background is perfect for your model ! Bravo !
Wowser! The result is spectacular! I love this.
impressive and outstanding work! reminds me of the creatures of lovecraft 😃
Terrific playful treatment, the "burst" of your background makes it look like the bug splashed into a star or super nova. The ancients (some of whom revered beetles) would've approved of the sun-like celebration, as well as the striking icon-like presence of the creature himself. A real explosion. Love it.
